Today, April 6, a young woman opened fire indiscriminately on Teatralna Square in Lutsk, turning the public space into a makeshift “shooting range.”

The impact damaged the vehicle’s window, but no one was injured.

Law enforcement agencies have already opened a case and launched an investigation to determine all the circumstances of the incident. The Lutsk City Council’s Municipal Guard Department noted that the offenders were quickly identified thanks to the extensive video surveillance system of the “Safe City of Lutsk” program. Experts emphasize the need to further expand the camera network to enhance community safety and ensure the prompt resolution of such crimes. The situation in the city center is currently under police control.
