Another defendant in the Midas case has filed a lawsuit against Zelensky

Alexander Zuckerman, a defendant in the high-profile “Midas” case, has filed a lawsuit against Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy with the Administrative Court of Cassation. The plaintiff is seeking a ruling that the president’s decree—which implemented the National Security and Defense Council’s (NSDC) decision to impose personal sanctions on him—is unlawful and should be fully revoked.

This is evidenced by official data from the “Judicial Power of Ukraine” portal.

The complaint was officially registered on May 15. The main defendant in the case is President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the National Security and Defense Council, and three relevant ministries—the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources, and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine—have been joined as third parties without independent claims in the proceedings.

The Administrative Court of Cassation within the Supreme Court has already reviewed the submitted materials and officially scheduled Oleksandr Tsukerman’s complaint for consideration on its merits.

As a reminder, businessman Timur Mindich has already filed a lawsuit against President Volodymyr Zelenskyy with the Administrative Court of Cassation.
