The body of an infant was found in a park in Lviv

In one of the parks on Chornovola Avenue in Lviv, a passerby found a bag containing the body of an infant. 

This was reported by the Lviv Regional Police. The child was dressed and wrapped in a blanket, and the body has already been sent for a forensic medical examination to determine the exact cause of death.

Law enforcement officers are conducting initial investigative actions and identifying witnesses and eyewitnesses to the incident. Efforts are currently underway to identify the mother and other individuals who may be involved in the incident. The police are urging citizens with any information to assist in the investigation.

This tragedy occurred against the backdrop of the overall tense situation in the country caused by Russian aggression, which requires heightened attention to safety in public places.
