In Lviv, near the “Ryasne-2” train station, a 13-year-old boy was electrocuted and suffered severe burns when he climbed onto the roof of a tank car to take a selfie. After being electrocuted, the teenager fell to the ground. He is currently in the intensive care unit, and his life is not in danger.
Law enforcement officials are investigating the incident and determining the legal classification of the event. The police remind the public that railway facilities and high-voltage power lines are high-risk areas, and attempts to climb onto train cars often result in serious injuries or death.
