Four minors raped and robbed a woman in Mukachevo
In Mukachevo, four minors aged between 13 and 17 lured a 46-year-old woman under the pretext of escorting her to a taxi. Along the way, they forced her under a bridge, used violence, tore off her gold jewelry, took cash, and raped her one after another. The case has caused public outrage due to both the age of the perpetrators and the victim.
Three of the boys have been sentenced to seven years in prison. As for the youngest, a 13-year-old boy, plans are underway to transfer him to a specialized institution considering his age. This highlights that the law enforcement system applies a differentiated approach to minors based on their age.
Further investigation and court proceedings may reveal more details about the circumstances of the crime, potentially influencing legislative measures regarding punishment for minors involved in such serious offenses.
