In Rivne, police arrested a drug dealer in possession of psychotropic substances worth 130,000 hryvnias
In Rivne, law enforcement officers detained a 27-year-old local woman who had organized the sale of narcotic and psychotropic substances via stashes in the regional capital. The street value of the seized illegal substances is nearly 130,000 hryvnias, and the suspect has been placed in a pretrial detention center without the right to post bail.
According to the investigation, the Rivne woman received wholesale shipments of “alpha-PVP,” amphetamine, and cannabis through a logistics company. Operatives caught her on September 10 while she was receiving another package, in which they found 79 pre-packaged stashes of psychotropic substances and 20 containing cannabis. The suspect was notified of charges of illegally acquiring and possessing psychotropic substances for the purpose of distribution on a particularly large scale, a crime punishable by imprisonment with confiscation of property.
In addition, law enforcement officers recently detained three more dealers, who are currently under pretrial investigation.
