A First Ladies and Gentlemen Summit will be held in Kyiv in August

In August 2026, Kyiv will host the Sixth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen. The main theme of this year’s meeting will be “The World in 2026: Finding Resilience in Times of Uncertainty.”

Summit participants will discuss how different countries and societies overcome crises, build resilience, and find solutions in the face of global challenges.

A separate segment of the event will be dedicated to Ukraine’s experience during a full-scale war. The organizers plan to present examples of the country’s adaptation, social resilience, and practices that help Ukrainians cope with the consequences of Russian aggression.

Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska noted that the summit will traditionally be held in Kyiv, which, she said, has become a symbol of resilience.

Over the course of its five-year history, the platform has brought together more than 50 first ladies and gentlemen, and its awareness campaigns have reached over 28 million people worldwide.
