Slovakia is expecting Zelenskyy to visit in the near future
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is set to visit Bratislava, and the only thing left for the diplomatic services to do to make this trip happen is to agree on specific dates.
Slovak Foreign Minister Juraj Blanár announced this while summarizing a phone conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart, Andriy Sybiga.
According to the head of the Slovak Foreign Ministry, the Ukrainian foreign minister officially confirmed the head of state’s strong interest in this visit. In addition, on the sidelines of the Conference on Ukraine’s Recovery in Gdańsk, the Slovak and Ukrainian sides, represented by Robert Fico and Yulia Svyrydenko, reached an agreement that the next joint meeting of the two countries’ governments will be hosted by Lviv.
