A reset in US-Russia relations is possible, says Sikorski
Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski predicts a reset in US-Russia relations. He stresses that Polish President Karol Nawrocki, who has a good relationship with Donald Trump, should intervene in the situation.
Sikorski wrote about this on the X network.
"There is war on the borders, and a reset in US-Russian relations is brewing. Instead of turning to his patron in Washington (Donald Trump – ed.), the president (Nawrocki – ed.) is attacking the EU and Ukraine. He is not signing the nominations for ambassadorial posts for 40 Polish diplomats...," Sikorski wrote.
Sikorski supported the Polish president's refusal to meet with Orbán.
We remind you that the European Commission proposes to obtain a mandate from the EU Council to continue negotiations on the accession of Ukraine and Moldova at a technical level — without formally opening negotiation clusters.
On 4 November, a summit on EU enlargement was held in Brussels with the participation of leaders of countries, where Volodymyr Zelensky spoke.
