The killer of a police officer in the Khmelnytskyi region was neutralized during a special operation
The gunman who shot and killed a police officer in the Khmelnytskyi region and wounded another law enforcement officer was killed during a special operation.
This was reported by National Police Chief Ivan Vyhovsky.
According to him, after the attack, the assailant fled into a forest belt, where, while escaping, he threw a grenade at a vehicle carrying forestry service employees; however, no one was injured.
During the search operation, the attacker opened fire on special forces when he saw a police armored vehicle. In response, law enforcement officers used their weapons and neutralized him.
As a reminder, Police Captain Serhiy Chornyi was killed during the attack, and another law enforcement officer was wounded.

In the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, an unknown assailant opened fire on people. According to preliminary reports, one person was killed and others were injured.
