Ukraine and Germany are preparing six joint defense projects — Zelenskyy
Ukraine and Germany are working on six projects in the field of joint arms production. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. According to him, key topics of the talks also included the signing of the Drone Deal, strengthening air defense, and supporting Ukraine’s energy sector.
The head of state announced this during a meeting in Kyiv.
“From the very beginning of Russian aggression, from the very beginning of the full-scale war, you have helped us—already to the tune of 28.6 billion euros. This is just military support, and thank you for your very strong support this year. I am very pleased that we have begun working on joint production between our countries. I believe this is a real step forward, a significant step. We can already count on six projects. But I think this is just the beginning of our relationship in miltech,” Zelenskyy said.
Zelenskyyannounced the creation of a legislative framework for defense companies.
Prior to this, Zelenskyy stated that the redeployment of Russian air defense systems to the Moscow area has weakened defenses in other regions of Russia, and this opens up many opportunities.
