Ukraine to Begin Exporting Weapons: Fedorov Announces Decision in the Coming Days
Ukraine will begin exporting weapons in the coming days. All the necessary regulatory and legal measures have already been put in place, Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced during the Brave1 Advantage Defense Tech event.
According to the minister, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had previously announced the opening of arms exports, and the process is now in its final stages.
“As the President announced regarding the opening of arms exports, they will be permitted in the very near future. You can’t even imagine how soon. All requirements for opening arms exports have already been finalized,” Fedorov said.
He added that in the coming days, the government will release details and adopt the relevant regulatory act.
According to Fedorov, opening up arms exports will allow Ukrainian manufacturers to scale up their own developments, enter international markets, and strengthen Ukraine’s position as one of the key players in the field of defense technologies.
