Ukraine has imposed sanctions on companies that supply equipment to the Russian defense industry
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has imposed sanctions on companies involved in supplying equipment to enterprises within the Russian military-industrial complex.
The restrictions apply to legal entities that manufacture high-precision machine tools and specialized equipment for Russian factories producing components for missile systems and other weapons.
The sanctions list includes 30 companies whose activities, according to Ukrainian authorities, are linked to supporting production for the Russian defense industry.
It is noted that among those subject to the restrictions are the “Burevisnyk” center, which is involved in the production of mortar systems and 152-mm “Malva” self-propelled artillery systems, as well as the company “KAM-Engineering,” which plays a key role in Russia’s military sector for the final testing of combat aviation components and certain missile systems.
“We continue to identify new, well-founded targets for sanctions. Each such decision further isolates Russian companies operating in the military-industrial complex, complicating their cooperation with international partners and their access to technology, financing, and equipment. Sanctions are intended to make participation in supporting the Russian military machine toxic and economically unprofitable,” said Vladislav Vlasyuk, the President’s Special Advisor on Sanctions Policy.
The relevant presidential decrees No. 587/2026 and No. 588/2026 have been published on the website of the President of Ukraine.
As a reminder, Zelenskyy imposed sanctions against former MP Boryslav Bereza.
The EU is considering new sanctions due to Russia’s purchases of petroleum products abroad.
