Ukraine is welcoming summer without the heat, but with rain and fog
The first day of summer in Ukraine will be cool and unsettled: rain and thunderstorms are forecast in several regions, with fog in some areas. In Kyiv, daytime temperatures will rise to 18–20°C.

Summer in Ukraine is starting without heat. Cloud cover will be variable, with brief showers expected in the eastern, western, Vinnytsia, and Odesa regions, and in some places at night. During the day, there will be occasional thunderstorms in the eastern regions. At night and in the morning, fog will cover the eastern regions, most of the northern regions, as well as the Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, and Odesa regions. No precipitation is expected in the rest of the country. Winds will be from the north, and from the southeast on the Right Bank, at 5–10 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from 5–10°C, up to 13°C along the coast; daytime temperatures will be 15–20°C.
On Monday, June 1, in Kyiv, cloud cover will be variable, with no precipitation expected. At night and in the morning, fog is expected in some areas of the Kyiv region. The wind will be southeasterly, 5–10 m/s. Temperatures in the region will range from 5–10° at night to 15–20° during the day; in Kyiv, 6–8° at night and 18–20° during the day.
