Soldiers from the 38th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment named after General-Horunzhy Yuriy Tyutyunnik spoke about their unusual “comrade” named Stinger. The soldiers shared the story and unique traits of this symbolic character, who has become a sort of mascot for the unit.
According to the defenders of Ukraine’s skies, one of their soldiers managed to tame a small ferret, which became a sort of mascot for the regiment.
“He lives alongside the soldiers under the care of a serviceman with the call sign ‘Promin’ and has become a symbol of courage and resilience. His story serves as a reminder: the fight for Ukraine’s freedom unites not only people but also those close to them. The 38th Air Defense Regiment defends the skies over Ukraine every day, destroying enemy targets, while the little ferret is a small but vivid sign that even in the hardest times, life and courage find a way,” our soldiers note.
They posted a video featuring it on Thursday, June 11, on their Facebook page.
