The Cabinet of Ministers has designated Kyiv and the Kyiv region as high-risk areas
The Cabinet of Ministers has expanded the existing war risk insurance program for businesses and simplified the process for receiving compensation.
In particular, Kyiv and the Kyiv region have been added to the list of high-risk areas.
"Russia is deliberately attacking civilian enterprises, warehouses, and logistics facilities on a daily basis. Businesses are suffering significant losses and need support for a swift recovery. In the draft budget for next year, the government has allocated a separate line item for war risk insurance. But businesses need support today, so we are currently expanding the existing program,” Koretsky wrote on his Telegram channel.
In particular, the government has included Kyiv and the Kyiv region in the list of high-risk territories.
“Second: we are expanding the list of property for which compensation can be received in the event of damage or destruction. Specifically, we are including fuel and the vehicles used to transport and store it. This is an important decision for the fuel infrastructure, which remains one of the key targets of Russian attacks. We are also adding agricultural machinery, trucks, and trailers to the list,” the prime minister said.
In addition, the government is increasing the maximum insurance premium compensation from 3 million UAH to 5 million UAH per year per enterprise, extending this mechanism to leased property, and simplifying the requirements for insurance contracts.
“In addition, this week the government expanded state support for major projects in the fuel sector, logistics, trade, and the processing industry. Preferential loans can now be obtained, in particular, to restore fuel and warehousing infrastructure, modernize processing industry enterprises, and replenish working capital for wholesale and retail trade. The state will subsidize 5.5% per annum of the bank’s base rate. The maximum limit for a group of affiliated companies is 1 billion hryvnia,” he noted.

The government has expanded the capabilities of the online marriage service in the “Diya” app.
