"MasterChef" judge Alex Yakutov adopted a 4-year-old boy
"MasterChef" judge Alex Yakutov and his wife Alya adopted a 4-year-old boy named Kirill. The child joined their family three months ago.
The celebrity chef has been married for 20 years. The couple had long wanted a child, but they were unable to conceive. On Instagram (alex_yakutov), Alex shared heartwarming photos of his family.
According to the celebrity, Kirill joined the family on June 12 of this year. The boy was taken from the Vorzel Orphanage.
“It’s been three months since this little guy came home. 12 is a lucky number for us: we got married on March 12, and Kiryushka joined our family on June 12,” Yakutov captioned the family photos.
The couple shared that they’ve been together for almost 20 years. The stars had been trying to have a baby for a long time, but were unable to conceive. That’s why Alex and Alya decided to adopt 4-year-old Kirill.
The couple went through a difficult process that took more than a year. Yakutov’s wife recalled that they hit it off immediately from the very first moment they met their son.
“We’ve wanted this for so many years. Right now, he sleeps with us because it’s important for him to bond with his parents. It’s important to fulfill his need to sleep together and cuddle. He’s very active, curious, and open. He’s a real live wire, as we say,” Alex shared with his wife.
Little Kirill is already calling the couple “Dad” and “Mom” and is adjusting to his new family.
