Zelenskyy signed a law imposing penalties for organizing fraudulent call centers

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law amending the Criminal Code of Ukraine to establish liability for electronic communications fraud. Bill No. 10190, in particular, introduces criminal penalties for participation in the activities of fraudulent call centers.

The Verkhovna Rada adopted the bill on September 16. 

According to the information in the bill’s summary on the parliament’s website, on September 17, the act was returned with the head of state’s signature and sent for distribution.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law that will reform the state benefits system starting in 2027. Specifically, the minimum payment to children with disabilities will be 8,000 hryvnias, and 90% of the benefits for children fully supported by the state will be accumulated in bank deposits.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed a law on the corporatization of the “Eastern Mining and Processing Plant” (“SkhidGZK”).
