The government has dismissed two of Fedorov's deputy defense ministers

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to dismiss two deputy defense ministers. 

The personnel decision was announced by Taras Melnychuk, the government’s representative in the Verkhovna Rada.

According to an official statement, the following individuals have been dismissed from their posts:

  • Ivan Yuriyovych Gavrylyuk;

  • Yevhen Georgiyovych Moysyuk.

Both officials have significant experience in the military sector. Ivan Gavryliuk rose through the ranks from platoon commander to head of the Main Directorate and deputy chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, gaining extensive practical experience in leadership positions within military command structures.

Yevhen Moysyuk is also known for his long service in the security and defense sectors. From 2021 to 2024, he served as Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and from 2024 to 2025, he served as the President’s Special Representative for the Implementation of International Security Guarantees and the Development of the Defense Forces.

The Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Viktor Kantsurak from the position of Deputy Head of the National Social Service of Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Yevhen Sitnychenko from the position of Head of the Kryvyi Rih District State Administration in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
