The government has exempted businesses affected by shelling from inspections

The Ukrainian government has decided to exempt real estate owned by businesses that has been damaged or destroyed as a result of enemy shelling from government inspections

This step is aimed at reducing administrative pressure on businesses and creating conditions for the accelerated restoration of production capacity during these difficult times of war.

The new rules apply to a wide range of properties located in high-risk areas.

In particular, the moratorium on inspections applies to property located in areas of active combat operations, in temporarily occupied territories, and in regions that could potentially become conflict zones.

Real estate located in areas where farming is risky or on plots that are contaminated or likely contaminated with explosive ordnance has also been included in the category exempt from inspections.

The government emphasizes that tens of thousands of properties across the country are covered by this decision.

The implementation of these measures will allow entrepreneurs to redirect their limited financial and human resources toward rebuilding infrastructure instead of going through lengthy inspection procedures.

The authorities aim to provide businesses with the maximum flexibility necessary for survival and the stabilization of economic activity during a full-scale war.

At the same time, the state is not completely abandoning its supervisory functions.

Inspection remains mandatory in cases involving the direct protection of citizens’ lives and health, ensuring national security, compliance with Ukraine’s international obligations, and environmental protection.

This was announced by Ukraine’s first female Prime Minister, Yulia Svyrydenko.
