A man died in Ivano-Frankivsk after falling from the fourth floor
In Ivano-Frankivsk, passersby discovered the body of a man showing no signs of life near a high-rise building. Preliminary findings suggest he may have fallen from a fourth-floor window. Law enforcement officials are investigating the circumstances of the tragedy and interviewing witnesses.
“An investigative team, forensic experts, officers from other police units, and an emergency medical team arrived at the scene. Medical personnel pronounced the man, born in 1996 and a resident of the building, dead,” law enforcement officials stated.
During an examination of the scene, police determined that the man likely fell from a window of a fourth-floor apartment. The window was open when law enforcement officers arrived. Witnesses are being interviewed to establish all the circumstances and causes of the incident.
Investigators have opened a case under Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, classified as an “accident.”
According to the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Police, a report of the incident on Trolleybusna Street was received via the “102” emergency line at 6:15 a.m.
In Uzhhorod, a man fell from a window of the TCC building and was hospitalized.
