Fourteen beaches have officially opened for the summer season in Odessa
As of June 8, 14 beach areas have been officially opened in Odesa, all of which fully comply with safety requirements under martial law.
This was reported by the Odessa City Council, which noted that all approved locations underwent a thorough inspection by a commission.
Local authorities, together with experts, checked the condition of the coastline and the readiness of the infrastructure to receive visitors.
At the same time, the process of expanding the list of safe locations continues, as business owners continue to submit new applications for site inspections.
All prepared locations have been equipped by tenants in accordance with current safety protocols and recommendations from the military command. Despite the complex security situation, the list of Odessa beach tenants remained completely unchanged in 2026.
City hall representatives also emphasized that the fixed rent for the use of coastal areas has remained unchanged for many years. This ensures stability for businesses and preserves the city’s established infrastructure.
During preparations for the summer season, city authorities and business owners paid special attention to creating barrier-free spaces for people with limited mobility.
Organizers have ensured appropriate conditions at several popular spots along the Odessa coast where people with disabilities can relax comfortably and safely.
Specialized areas are equipped with convenient ramps, walkways for wheelchairs, and adapted changing rooms.
