A grenade exploded in an apartment in Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Two people were injured in the incident.
Emergency medical personnel promptly provided assistance to the victims, who were then hospitalized.

According to reports, the Nikopol Emergency Medical Service received a call about a grenade explosion in an apartment. A team of paramedics was dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, they found police officers attempting to gain access to the locked apartment. The door had to be forced open, according to the regional emergency medical center.
“Inside were two injured men—a 68-year-old father and his 43-year-old son. According to preliminary information, a conflict arose between them, during which the son, while under the influence of drugs, detonated a grenade,” the statement said.
The men were diagnosed with blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to the chest and legs.
Paramedics provided the necessary care: they administered pain relief, treated the wounds, applied sterile bandages, and transported the injured to the city hospital.
