Another 14 safe beach areas for recreation have been officially opened in Odesa and the surrounding region
Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, announced the expansion of the list of safe locations for recreation, bringing the total number of accessible beach areas in the region to 27.
After completing all necessary inspections, the relevant authorities approved the opening of new areas, including Velykofontansky, Delfin, Kaleton, the inclusive “Bez Mezh,” Lanzheron, Arkadia, Kurortny, Municipal, Zolotyi Bereg, “For People with Disabilities,” and Chaika.
The head of the Regional State Administration also reminded citizens of the need to strictly observe safety rules while on the coast and urged them to respond promptly to air raid alerts.

The Ministry of Health’s Public Health Center has published a list of beaches where swimming is permitted as of June 11. At the same time, restrictions are in place in a number of regions due to security concerns or water quality failing to meet sanitary standards.
Kyiv will not open the official swimming season in 2026.
