Temperatures are expected to rise in Ukraine on June 19, with light localized precipitation

On Friday, June 19, 2026, a noticeable improvement in weather conditions is forecast across Ukraine as a high-pressure system spreads in from Western Europe. Precipitation will decrease significantly, and daytime temperatures will rise. 

Weather conditions and regional highlights:

• Precipitation: No rain is expected across most of the country. However, due to the influence of an atmospheric front in the southeast, as well as during the day in most western and northern regions, light, brief showers are possible in some areas.

• Temperatures: Overnight, temperatures will range from +11 to +16 °C, while along the coast, temperatures will reach +19 °C. During the day, temperatures across the country will reach a comfortable +22...+27 °C. Winds will be predominantly from the northwest (in the south and southeast—from the northeast) at 5–10 m/s.

• Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast: Partly cloudy skies are expected in the capital region. No precipitation is forecast for the night, but light, brief showers are expected in some areas during the day. Nighttime temperatures in Kyiv will range from +13 to +15 °C (across the region, +11 to +16 °C), and daytime temperatures in the capital will reach +25 to +27 °C.
