Strong gusts of wind are expected in Ukraine – weather forecast for May 26
On May 26, variable cloudiness and stronger winds are expected in Ukraine. According to forecasters, wind gusts of up to 20 m/s are expected in most regions. In Kyiv, daytime temperatures will range from 22°C to 24°C, and weather conditions will remain unstable.

Forecasters predict variable cloudiness across Ukraine. Precipitation is generally not expected, though light, brief showers are possible in some areas during the day in the northern, eastern, Cherkasy, Poltava, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The wind will be northwesterly, 7–12 m/s, with gusts of 15–20 m/s during the day across most of the country, except for Zakarpattia. Temperatures at night will range from 11–16°C; during the day, 21–26°C, up to 30°C in Zakarpattia, and 17–22°C in the east and northeast.
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has issued a yellow danger level (Level I) for all of Ukraine, except for Zakarpattia. Adverse weather conditions may complicate operations at energy, construction, and utility companies, as well as traffic.
On Tuesday, May 26, cloud cover in Kyiv will be variable. No precipitation at night; during the day, light, brief showers in some areas. Winds from the northwest at 7–12 m/s, with gusts of 15–20 m/s during the day. Temperatures across the region will range from 11–16°C at night to 21–26°C during the day; in Kyiv, temperatures will range from 14–16°C at night to 22–24°C during the day. A yellow danger level is also in effect for the Kyiv region and the capital due to wind gusts.
