In Ukraine, the dollar has risen in value at currency exchange offices
On April 14, the dollar exchange rate at Ukrainian currency exchange offices showed a slight increase, while banks reported a slight decrease in the currency’s value for buyers. At the same time, the euro remains stable and has seen almost no change in price.
This is evidenced by market monitoring data.
Overall, the currency market has seen mixed trends: exchange offices are raising the dollar rate, while banks, on the contrary, are gradually lowering it.
At exchange offices, the average buying rate for the dollar rose by 1 kopeck to 43.65 UAH. The selling rate also increased slightly.
The euro remains unchanged at exchange offices: the average buying rate is 51.15 UAH, and the selling rate is 50.90 UAH.
The opposite trend is observed at bank teller windows. The average buying rate for the dollar has decreased by 2 kopecks and stands at 43.73 UAH. The euro has fallen by 5 kopecks to 51.20 UAH.
The selling rate for the dollar at banks remains at 43.25 UAH, and for the euro at 50.60 UAH.
Today, it is more advantageous to buy currency at exchange offices or through banks’ online services, where the rate is slightly lower than at teller windows. In particular, online rates at major banks remain more attractive to customers.
At PrivatBank, the dollar is sold at branches for 43.80 UAH and via non-cash transactions for 43.86 UAH. The euro costs 51.60 UAH at teller windows.
At Oschadbank, the dollar is sold via the app for 43.7 UAH, and the euro for 51.30 UAH. Card transactions are processed at a slightly higher rate.
