Ukraine Is Preparing Alternative Logistics Routes for Frontline Regions — Zelenskyy

The Ukrainian government is preparing a decision on backup logistics routes in frontline regions. Specifically, it involves algorithms for combining rail and bus routes, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said after a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Headquarters.

“The Ukrainian government is preparing a decision on backup logistics routes in frontline regions, and algorithms for combining rail and bus routes have been worked out,” Zelenskyy wrote on his Telegram channel on Tuesday.

The meeting also discussed challenges and possible joint steps with partners to ensure logistics security in border areas with EU countries and Moldova.

Separately, the meeting reviewed Ukrzaliznytsia’s capacity to repair rolling stock and issues related to equipment procurement.

“We have updated the tasks for protecting specific critical infrastructure facilities—the details are not public. I am grateful to Ihor Klymenko for his thorough organization of the meeting,” the president noted.

Ukraine must urgently reopen its ports to safeguard exports and the economy.

Ukraine has proposed that Russia agree to cease attacks on infrastructure, according to Zelenskyy.

Zelenskyy warned Russia of a response to attacks on the energy sector.
