Ukraine has approved new average wage figures used to calculate pensions.
This was reported by the “Judicial and Legal Gazette.”
This refers to the average salary on which insurance contributions are paid and which is taken into account when calculating pensions in accordance with the law on mandatory state pension insurance.
The following figures have been approved: • for January 2026 — 21,876.6 UAH; • for February 2026 — 22,455.11 UAH; • for March 2026 — 23,218.24 UAH.
These figures are used to determine the wage coefficient when calculating pension payments.
Since the beginning of the year, the average wage figure used for pension calculations has increased by more than 1,300 UAH.
Earlier, Minister of Social Policy, Family, and Unity Denys Ulyutin reported that as part of pension reform in Ukraine, authorities plan to introduce a voluntary funded pension system with automatic enrollment of employees and the option to opt out.
