A Russian attack on October 7 claimed 28 lives, including five children in Pryluky

As a result of massive Russian shelling on October 7 in Pryluky, Kremenchuk, Oleksandriya, and Kyiv, 28 people were killed, including five children in Pryluky, three of whom were only one year old. At the same time, State Emergency Service personnel and police officers rescued 29 people, pulling them from the rubble and evacuating them from destroyed buildings, mostly in Pryluky.

In particular, State Emergency Service squad commander Pavlo Levchenko, along with his colleagues, rescued a five-year-old girl and her mother from under the rubble after they had been thrown from their home by the blast wave. The process of clearing the rubble at the site of the tragedy has been ongoing for over 14 hours. In Kremenchuk, patrol police officers provided first aid and evacuated the wounded in the first minutes after the shelling, while psychologists from the National Police, the State Emergency Service, and the National Guard provided support to hundreds of victims.

This was reported by Ukrainian Interior Minister Ivan Vyhovsky.

As a reminder, at least two people were killed in Kyiv as a result of the nighttime attack.
