Applications are now being accepted for the free Power Women 2026 program in Ukraine
Ukraine has announced the start of recruitment for the Power Women 2026 training program, designed for women seeking to enter the renewable energy sector.
The project offers participants a unique opportunity to gain knowledge and practical skills free of charge for future employment in one of the most important sectors of the economy.
According to the Ministry of Economy’s press service, the initiative was launched back in 2025 with the support of international partners such as Scatec, FMO, IFC, Swedfund, and EdEra.
This year, the well-known energy company Elementum Energy also joined the project, which allowed for a significant expansion of the program’s educational scope.
A key feature of this year’s program is the introduction of a new training module on business development in the green energy sector.
Course participants will gain comprehensive knowledge not only about the technical operation of solar power plants but also about the underlying logic of the energy business.
The program covers a wide range of professional topics: from analytics and operational processes to occupational safety and procurement procedures.
This approach allows women to understand the principles of internal team dynamics and effectively prepare for real-world work tasks.
Last year, the initiative proved highly effective, attracting over 100 applications.
Ultimately, 20 participants completed the full training course, and 100% of the first cohort’s graduates officially recommend this program to other women.
The learning process within Power Women includes a theoretical online course, practical assignments, and regular Q&A sessions with industry experts.
The organizers pay special attention to developing leadership skills and providing individual career counseling for each participant.
