Ukraine to change school operating formats due to energy emergency
Ukraine’s Ministry of Education and local authorities have been instructed to prepare proposals on how the education system should operate during the current energy emergency.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on Telegram.
“We are expecting proposals from the Ministry of Education and Science and from local authorities regarding formats for the educational process during the period of the energy emergency,” the head of state said.
Zelenskyy made the statement during a meeting focused on the extraordinary situation in Ukraine’s energy system, with particular attention paid to Kyiv.
In addition, the government has been tasked with preparing changes to curfew regulations in response to the energy crisis.
