Rain and temperatures up to 19°C are expected in Ukraine on April 17
On Friday, April 17, most regions of Ukraine are expected to experience unsettled weather with light rain and a moderate rise in temperatures.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center on Facebook.
According to forecasters, weather conditions will be determined by an atmospheric front moving in from the northwest. It will bring precipitation to most regions, while in the southeastern part of the country, which will be under the influence of high pressure, no significant precipitation is expected.
“Weather in most regions will be determined by an atmospheric front moving in from the northwest, bringing light rain; only in the southeastern part, under high-pressure conditions, is precipitation not expected. The southwesterly wind ahead of the front will shift to a northwesterly direction after the front passes through the western and northern regions, bringing cool air at a speed of 5–10 m/s,” meteorologists note.
Nighttime temperatures will range from +3° to +8°, and daytime temperatures from +11° to +16°. In Zakarpattia and the southeastern part of the country, temperatures will rise to +14° to +19°.
Cloudy weather with some sunny intervals is expected in Kyiv and the surrounding region. Light rain is possible at night and in the morning; no precipitation is forecast during the day. The wind will be northwesterly, 5–10 m/s.
In the capital, nighttime temperatures will remain at +6…+8°, and daytime temperatures at +14…+16°.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center released a forecast for the second month of spring, according to which temperatures and precipitation will remain within the climatic norm.
After a cold winter, Ukrainians are looking forward to spring warmth, but April will bring not only sunshine but also weather “swings.”
