Vegetable prices have risen in Ukraine: current prices as of June 29
As of June 29, 2026, Ukraine has seen a rise in tomato prices. Among the vegetables used in borscht, the price of onions has also increased.
At the same time, potatoes and cabbage have become cheaper. Overall, the vegetable market is seeing mixed price trends depending on the product category.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the current prices of vegetables in supermarkets are as follows:

Prices for old potatoes range from 12 to 16 UAH/kg, while new potatoes have dropped in price by 28% to 15–30 UAH/kg. Overall, the price of potatoes on the Ukrainian market is now 10% lower than during the same period last year.
At the same time, the price of tomatoes has risen by 15.4% to 95 UAH/kg.
The current price of cabbage from the 2026 harvest is, on average, 20% higher than during the same period at the end of June last year.
Onion prices have also gone up. Two days ago, onions were selling for 16–18 UAH/kg, and now the price has risen to 18–20 UAH/kg.
Prices for zucchini have fallen—from 25–35 UAH/kg to 18–22 UAH/kg. Eggplants have also become slightly cheaper—from 120–130 to 100–115 UAH/kg.

In Ukraine, A-95 gasoline costs about 75.20 UAH, and diesel costs 77.10 UAH.
