The government has announced when road repairs will be completed

In Ukraine, nearly 170 crews and more than 1,500 workers are on the job every day carrying out roadwork on international highways and public roads. 

According to Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, 2.7 million square meters of damage have already been repaired since the beginning of the year. Currently, about 50% of routine repairs on international highways have been completed.

All routine maintenance work on these facilities is scheduled to be completed by May 1, and major repairs are expected to be finished by June 1. Additionally, measures to strengthen international transport links are ongoing in the country. Such infrastructure projects are being implemented as part of a broader strategy to restore logistics, while in Russia the road sector faces other challenges. The process is being monitored by relevant agencies to ensure quality and adherence to schedules.

Approximately 50 billion hryvnias are needed for road restoration and routine maintenance in Ukraine.
