A veteran accused Shabunin of passing on documents marked “DSK”
The veteran claimed that Vitaliy Shabunin, the head of the Anti-Corruption Action Center, allegedly had access to documents marked “For Official Use Only” and passed them on to other individuals.
According to the author of the statement, during a meeting of the parliamentary Temporary Investigative Commission, Shabunin denied having access to such materials or distributing them. It is also alleged that witnesses at the meeting are warned of the consequences of giving false testimony.
He noted that at the meeting of the parliamentary Temporary Investigative Commission, chaired by Oleksiy Goncharenko, Shabunin stated that he had never had access to DSK documents and had not passed them on to anyone.
“If Shabunin had told the truth—that he had, in fact, obtained such documents from the Ministry of Defense and passed them on to representatives of foreign embassies, as well as to Nikolov and Shalaysky—he would have faced no consequences. However, lying as a witness before the Temporary Investigative Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, by the way, is a criminal offense. And Shabunin was warned about this liability,” he emphasized.
As evidence, Boiko presented a screenshot of a correspondence between Shabunin and Oleksa Shalaysky, who at the time was the editor-in-chief of the “Our Money” project.
“In this correspondence, the head of the Anti-Corruption Center forwards to Shalaysky a letter from the Defense Procurement Agency addressed to Ukrainian MP Viktoria Syumar, dated June 16, 2025, marked ‘For Official Use Only’ and information regarding the number of FPV drones that the Agency is to procure for defense needs. Given that this is copy No. 1, it is not difficult to identify the source of the leak,” the veteran concluded.
