Video: WinFly Unveils the Spider Reusable Interceptor
The Ukrainian company WinFly has unveiled the WINFLY Spider drone interceptor, based on the WINFLY 10 Hunter model and equipped with a special KARAKURT-K2 net launcher. This system allows for the neutralization of enemy drones using a net and enables the interceptor to return for reuse, thereby avoiding the loss of the interceptor itself.
The interceptor is capable of operating at altitudes of up to 5,000 meters, reaching speeds of up to 160 km/h, and flying distances of over 18 km with a target detection range of up to 500 meters. The system detects and shoots down both reconnaissance drones such as the “Orlan,” ZALA, or Supercam, as well as quadcopters and FPV drones.
The net launcher weighs 210 grams and fires a 3×3-meter net up to 15 meters away. The cost per shot is 1,100 UAH, making the drone significantly more cost-effective compared to standard intercept missions.

As a reminder, the Ministry of Defense has approved more than 1,100 new weapons models in the past six months.
The Ministry of Defense has codified and authorized the use of the new Ukrainian-made B-1 unmanned aerial system by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These ultra-light bombers are designed to strike concentrations of personnel, vehicles, and armored equipment.
