Video: Cleanup efforts continue in the Khmelnytskyi region following explosions at a military training ground
In the Khmelnytskyi region, rescue workers continue to deal with the aftermath of the explosions that occurred on July 31 at the training ground of a Special Operations Forces unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The efforts involve pyrotechnic, diving, and K-9 units, as well as specialists from the Unmanned Systems Forces, community rescue officers, and mobile safety classes.
Rescue workers are surveying the area near the training ground, forested areas, forest belts, and residential areas for explosive devices. To do this, they are using drones and ground-based robotic systems, while divers are checking bodies of water.
Rescue officers are conducting door-to-door visits, informing local residents about mine safety rules, and providing assistance as needed.
In addition, two mobile safety classrooms operated by the State Emergency Service are on site, where adults and children are taught how to respond if they discover explosive objects.
A command center for emergency response is coordinating all personnel and resources.

In Khmelnytskyi, following a series of explosions that occurred on July 31, the routes of bus lines No. 18 and No. 30 were temporarily rerouted. The restrictions were implemented due to the situation that arose after the emergency.
A series of powerful explosions rang out in Khmelnytskyi on the afternoon of July 31 without an air raid siren being sounded. According to eyewitnesses, at least five explosions were heard in the city.
