The Military Law Enforcement Service responds to reports of possible violations of the law or the rights of service members.
An investigation into the incident involving soldiers from the 14th Brigade is currently underway. Based on certain evidence, the possibility of opening criminal proceedings is also being considered.

“If confirmed, the facts of unlawful actions will receive a proper legal assessment, and those responsible will be held accountable in accordance with the requirements of Ukrainian law. It should be noted that most of the facts mentioned on social media were already under the scrutiny of law enforcement agencies,” the statement reads.
As the press service notes, decisions on opening criminal proceedings are being considered based on specific materials. “The Armed Forces of Ukraine remain an institution that operates on the principles of legality, accountability, and internal control, with zero tolerance for corruption,” the statement reads.

Information has appeared on social media regarding an allegedly critical situation with the supply of soldiers from the 14th Brigade’s 2nd Mechanized Battalion, who are stationed at their positions without sufficient food and water.
Earlier, Ukrainian intelligence intercepted a conversation between Russian Armed Forces soldiers complaining about critical problems with food and water supplies at their positions. This indicates serious difficulties with the logistical support of Russian units.
