Nova Poshta is closing branches in the Zaporizhzhia region for security reasons

A "Nova Poshta" branch in the village of Komyshuvakha, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, is closing. The company explained that the decision was made due to the difficult security situation, which makes it impossible to continue operations. At the same time, the company plans to open a branch in one of the neighboring settlements in the near future.

This was reported with reference to the company’s press service.

“For nearly two years, this branch has been a pillar of support and a vital logistics hub in the frontline community. Every day, about 100 people came here to receive medicine, food, and humanitarian aid. In March alone, 10,000 parcels passed through it,” the statement reads.

As the company noted, the decision to close the branch was “put off until the very last moment.” “But the security situation no longer allows us to operate: constant shelling, FPV drones, and proximity to the front line pose a daily risk to the team and customers,” the statement said.

It is noted that the branch in Komyshuvas was opened by Nova Poshta partners—father and son—Mykola and Kirill Grabky. Kirill (24) worked there himself, along with seven employees: branch manager Oleksandr (24), operators Vasyl (33), Vadym (19), and Svitlana (38), loaders Denys (27) and Oleksandr (38), and driver Yuriy (45).

“They are all residents of frontline Zaporizhzhia: from Komyshuvakha itself and from nearby villages destroyed by the Russians. Despite this, partners Mykola and Kirill Grabky are staying with Nova Poshta and are already preparing to open a branch in one of the neighboring towns with the same team of seven Nova Poshta employees,” the press service adds.

“Nova Poshta” fired an employee for mocking customers in Ukrainian.

As a reminder, a co-owner of “Nova Poshta” supported gas stations due to high fuel prices.

"Nova Poshta" warned of delivery delays due to bad weather.
