Authorities have launched a process to relocate commercial warehouses to safe locations

Ukraine is implementing a 24/7 operating schedule for regional military administrations and establishing special task forces in the regions to support businesses in the decentralization of warehouse facilities

This was announced by Viktor Mykyta, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine. The decision was made in response to systematic threats and attacks by Russia on centralized warehousing facilities in the regions.

To ensure prompt processing of requests from business owners, each regional military administration will operate a “single window” with round-the-clock availability. Special working groups will provide support in deploying facilities at new sites, resolving logistical issues, and connecting to infrastructure in other regions. In addition, using the “Dialogue Between Government and Business” platform and under the leadership of regional administration heads, weekly online consultations will be held on issues related to the recovery, expansion, and relocation of businesses.

Russian strikes on warehouses and logistics centers are already forcing Ukrainian retail chains to restructure their operations. The greatest risk currently concerns perishable goods and large household appliances. At the same time, the market does not expect a general shortage, but shoppers may see a smaller selection of goods and higher prices due to more expensive delivery costs.

In some supermarkets in the capital, shoppers have already noticed empty shelves; in particular, some types of grains, fresh herbs, and other products were temporarily out of stock.
