The owner of the Telegram channel "Truha" was released from the Lviv Territorial Center for Combating Terrorism

Maksym Lavrynenko, the owner of the Telegram channel “Truha,” who was taken to the Lychakivsko-Zaliznychny District Military Registration and Enlistment Office in Lviv in early June, was released after his military registration documents were verified. This was reported by Ukrainska Pravda.

Following the verification, he was handed a summons to appear before a military medical commission at his place of military registration. No other procedural decisions were made regarding him.

"On June 5, citizen Maksym Lavrynenko was summoned by police representatives to the Lychakiv-Zaliznychny District Military Registration and Enlistment Office in Lviv to update his military registration records. Subsequently, after updating his military registration records, Mr. Lavrinenko was served with a summons to undergo a military medical examination at his place of military registration—the Shevchenkivskyi District Military Registration and Enlistment Office and the Joint Staff in Kharkiv. After that, he left the premises of the Regional Military Registration and Enlistment Center and Joint Staff."

In response to a follow-up question from UP regarding how often the Lychakiv-Zaliznychny Regional Military Registration and Enlistment Center and Joint Service Office allows conscripts to undergo a medical examination at their place of military registration — the head of communications for the “West” Operational Command did not respond.

UP also submitted a request to the Kharkiv Regional Military Registration and Enlistment Office asking whether Maksym Lavrynenko had appeared at the Shevchenkivskyi District Military Registration and Enlistment Office this month to undergo a medical examination. We are currently awaiting a response.

On June 5, Maksym Lavrynenko, the owner of the Telegram channel “Truha,” was detained in Lviv and taken to the Military Registration and Enlistment Office. His military registration records were not up to date, and he did not have a valid deferment or exemption.

Lavrynenko identified himself to the police as a “journalist for the Armed Forces of Ukraine” from the “Truha Ukraine” media group. He later claimed that the Military Registration and Enlistment Office had detained him “on the personal orders of Defense Minister Fedorov.”

This was reported by Yaroslav Melnichuk, head of the communications department of the “West” Operational Command, in a comment to UP.

“Trukha Ukraine” donated an apartment to a grandmother and her grandson from the Bakhmut region.

The Ministry of Defenseand the TCC deny that they deliberately mobilized “Trukha” owner Lavrinenko.

The Security Service of Ukraine, in cooperation with the National Police, has thwarted new schemes to evade mobilization. According to law enforcement officials, eight such schemes have been uncovered in various regions of the country, and 14 organizers have been detained. Among those involved are a bank employee, representatives of the Territorial Recruitment Center, bloggers, and individuals with prior criminal convictions.

People’s Deputy Georgiy Mazurashu stated that in Bukovina, a German citizen who had come to Ukraine to visit relatives was drafted into the army during the mobilization.
