“A lost life”: Tyshchenko on his years in the Servant of the People party
Independent MP Mykola Tyshchenko has sharply criticized his time in the Servant of the People party, describing it not just as wasted time, but as “a lost life.” The claim was reported by fellow lawmaker Oleksii Honcharenko. Tyshchenko himself has not yet publicly confirmed or commented on the statement.
According to a post by Ukrainian MP Oleksii Honcharenko, Tyshchenko made a strong remark about his political past, referring to the years he spent in the ruling party.
“Tyshchenko said that his time in the Servant of the People party was not just wasted time, but a lost life,” Honcharenko wrote.
At the same time, it is important to note that this information comes from another lawmaker. Mykola Tyshchenko has not yet publicly confirmed or commented on the statement.
Recently, Tyshchenko joined a new parliamentary group, which may have influenced his reassessment of his previous political experience. No further details about the reasons behind such a sharp statement have been disclosed so far.
In addition, the MP recently drew attention during a session of the Verkhovna Rada due to his unusual appearance. He was seen wearing distinctive glasses with a narrow horizontal lens covering only the eye level. Such glasses look unusual and resemble a specialized tool for reading or working with texts. They may help focus vision on documents without fully blocking the field of view.
For now, it remains unclear whether Tyshchenko will confirm his reported statement and clarify what exactly he meant by calling that period of his life “a lost life.”
