More than 100 million hryvnia in bail has already been posted on behalf of former Minister Galushchenko
For former Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko, 105 million hryvnias of the 150 million hryvnias in bail ordered by the court have already been paid. The funds were transferred by three private companies.
The largest contribution—54 million hryvnias—was made by the company “Tetrus Optima.” Another 46 million hryvnias were contributed by “Giran Contract,” and 5 million hryvnias by “Sky Retail.” According to journalists, all of these companies have minimal authorized capital, few employees, or have previously reported minimal or zero income.
As of June 26, about two-thirds of the required amount had been paid on Galushchenko’s behalf. Until the full bail is paid, the former minister will remain in custody.
