Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron, during which the two leaders discussed strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, European integration, and international coordination.
According to Zelenskyy, France is ready to work on strengthening Ukraine’s protection against ballistic threats.
“France is ready to work on anti-ballistic measures. This is a strong decision and an important step,” the president noted.
The parties also discussed strengthening Ukraine’s capabilities to repel Russian attacks immediately, as well as opening all negotiation clusters regarding EU accession in the near future.
Separately, Macron briefed Zelenskyy on his visit to African countries. The presidents agreed to coordinate their efforts in this area as well.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine must respond to Russian strikes fairly and decisively. According to him, he has agreed on specific response measures to the latest massive attacks by the Russian Federation.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia has intensified its contacts with Alexander Lukashenko in an attempt to draw Belarus deeper into the war.
