Zelenskyy Discussed Trump's Envoys' Visit to Ukraine with Them
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a telephone conversation with U.S. President’s Special Envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to set a date for their first visit to Kyiv. The head of state described the conversation as detailed and constructive.
During the conversation, Zelenskyy briefed the American envoys on the situation at the front, where Russia has made limited gains at the cost of enormous losses, as well as on the airstrikes. The Ukrainian and U.S. negotiating teams will work out the agenda and schedule for further meetings to develop solutions for achieving peace.
The previously planned trip by U.S. special envoys to Ukraine was postponed amid an escalation of Russian missile and drone attacks on Kyiv.

On August 24, British Prime Minister Andy Burnham arrived in Kyiv on his first overseas visit in office. London will allow the release of classified information regarding the British components of SCALP missiles.
While in Kyiv, Finnish President Alexander Stubb announced the preparation of two aid packages for Ukraine—one to strengthen air defense and the other to support the energy sector ahead of winter.
