Zelenskyy extended martial law and mobilization for another 90 days

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed laws extending martial law and general mobilization.

These are bills No. 15197 and No. 15198, which provide for the extension of these measures for another 90 days—starting May 4, 2026.

Thus, the special legal regime in Ukraine has been extended for the nineteenth time since the start of the full-scale war.

Martial law has been in effect in Ukraine since February 24, 2022. At the same time, general mobilization is underway, which involves the conscription of citizens subject to military service between the ages of 18 and 60, in the absence of legal grounds for deferment or exemption.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported in the first reading draft law No. 14271, which provides for the implementation of European Union standards in the field of renewable energy sources.

The Verkhovna Rada adopted Bill No. 14166, which allows for the resumption of the design and construction of the Museum of the Heavenly Hundred and the Revolution of Dignity in Kyiv.
