Zelenskyy met with students in Rivne
On May 22, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announceda working trip to Rivne, where he began his visit by speaking with students at a vocational college.
According to him, the development of vocational education is one of the state’s priorities, as Ukraine needs specialists in applied professions both now and during future reconstruction.
"We discussed with students and business leaders—who help them find employment after graduation—the training of specialists and the promotion of vocational education. The issue of increasing scholarships was also raised. The Ministry of Education and Science will work out possible solutions," the statement reads.
The president thanked the students and faculty for the meeting and also noted the support of European partners in modernizing the educational institution.
Zelenskyy was invited to the NATO summit in Ankara—Rutte.
Zelenskyyordered the strengthening of air defense near Belarus.
Alexander Lukashenko stated that he is allegedly ready to visit Ukraine and discuss relations with Volodymyr Zelenskyy. In Kyiv, the reaction to such statements was as restrained and firm as possible, with a reminder of Belarus’s role in the war.
