Zelenskyy is set to meet with the Servant of the People faction today
On Monday, May 25, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will hold an official meeting with members of parliament from the “Servant of the People” parliamentary faction.
This was reported by the RBC-Ukraine news agency, citing its own confidential source within the majority faction.
The meeting is expected to focus on key issues on the national agenda, defense, and the country’s further European integration.
Such consultations between the head of state and lawmakers are becoming increasingly systematic and take place on a regular basis.
Last Wednesday, the president met with representatives of the majority faction in the Verkhovna Rada, as well as with the head of the Presidential Office, Kirill Budanov.
During that closed-door meeting, the parties coordinated in detail joint actions and strategic steps by central government bodies.
The previous round of talks between state leaders and parliamentarians focused on urgent legislative initiatives and strengthening international support.
At that time, key issues on the parliamentary agenda were discussed.
In particular, they discussed what is needed for Ukraine’s stability and its path toward the European Union. The new meeting is intended to be a logical continuation of the strategic dialogue that has begun.
