Zelenskyy called on the Rada to ratify the loan agreement with the EU
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked members of parliament for their swift ratification of the agreement with the European Union on a €90 billion loan. According to him, these funds are intended to strengthen Ukraine’s resilience and help protect the lives of its citizens.
This was reported with reference to the head of state’s social media accounts.
“I am grateful to all members of parliament who so promptly ratified the agreement with the European Union on €90 billion in support for Ukraine over two years. These funds will strengthen our resilience and help protect the lives of our people, rebuild what was destroyed by Russian attacks, and defend our independence. This is one of the most important votes, demonstrating the constructive nature of our joint work and our willingness to listen to one another,” the post reads.
The President emphasized that “unity in Ukraine is what always works in Ukraine’s favor.”
“I am also grateful to our European partners for their willingness to stand with Ukraine and actively support our defense, our diplomacy, and our recovery. Ukraine is defending Europe with all its might, and full support for Ukraine will undoubtedly strengthen all of Europe. Glory to Ukraine!” the head of state concluded.
